Inspiration: I chose The Fly (1986) as my 80s horror inspiration. In The Fly, scientist Seth Brundle accidentally merges his DNA with a housefly during a teleportation experiment, which slowly transforms him into a grotesque human-fly hybrid. I'm not feeling myself reminds me of what a fly looks like.
